1 2 ½ pound chicken, cut in 8 pieces
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons oil
1½ teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup plain yogurt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Wash the chicken and pat dry. Remove the skin. Mash the garlic and mix it with oil, cumin, ginger, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric. Blend in the salt, pepper, and yogurt. Rub this mixture all over the chicken pieces.
Place the pieces in a baking pan in a single layer, leaving a little space between each piece. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
